by David IrvineA DANGER to life warning has been issues with Scotland to be pummelled by 80mph winds next week.
Met Office experts are warning of extreme conditions on Monday afternoon and throughout the rest of the day.
Scots will face a wet and wild weekend before the strong winds take over on Monday.
They say that there is a small chance of injuries and danger to life from flying debris.
There is also the potential that danger to life could come from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and buildings.
And there is the chance that damage to buildings could occur and power cuts or mobile phone coverage could be affected.
Commuters may also face nightmare journeys as road, rail, air and ferry services could be affected, with a potential closures to roads and bridges.
Very strong westerly winds of 55-65mph winds are widely expected with gusts of 75-80mph possible in exposed parts of the Hebrides and north-west Scotland.
Video showed the moment a trampoline was blown down a busy Scots road into oncoming traffic amid 80mph wind chaos.
The large garden trampoline was sent flying across Culloden Road, Inverness, yesterday after being battered by gale-force winds.
Footage has emerged online showing the trampoline hurtling towards cars as it rolls down the street.
And vehicles were forced to swerve and mount the pavement in a bid to avoid a collision with it.
The clip has now gone viral after being liked and shared thousands of times online.
