Four displaced in south Charlotte house fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Three adults and a teenager were displaced after a south Charlotte home caught fire Friday morning.

The fire broke out at a two-story home on Stokes Avenue near Park Road and Fairview Road.

The Charlotte Fire Department say it took 23 firefighters around 15 minutes to control the fire. Fire officials tweeted about the fire around 5:30 a.m.

The fire remains under investigation.

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
