Akeem Ellis, take a bow.

With two defenders contesting his shot from near the top of the three-point line, Ellis hit nothing but net to send the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium into a frenzy.

His buzzer-beater capped off a double-double performance, giving the KW Titans a 113-110 overtime win over the London Lightning.

Ellis also came up big to send the game to extra time.

Down by three with five seconds left in the fourth quarter, standing at the free throw line, Ellis sunk the first shot but missed the second.

However, he immediately nabbed the offensive rebound and drained a layup to tie the game.

He finished with 24 points and 12 rebounds in the win.  Akeem Scott had a team high 27 points, while Damon Lynn added 26 points and eight rebounds.

Xavier Moon led the way for London --- posting a game-high 37 points --- sparking a comeback after the Titans led 26-9 after the first quarter.

The win puts the Titans up to 3-9 on the season, while the Central Division-leading Lightning fall to 8-3.

The Titans and Lightning will have a rematch Saturday night in London.
