Box Office: Dull opening for ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ in India

Today’s big release ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ has had a disappointing start at the box office in India.

According to data published by Box Office India, the Saif Ali Khan, Alaya F and Tabu starrer, opened with a meagre 5-10% in morning trade. The film may work better in the evening but is unlikely to get cash registers ringing. The report adds that the film could make around Rs. 2 crore today.

Other releases this week ‘Gul Makai’ and ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’ were non-starters. All the releases, will continue to face opposition from ‘Street Dancer 3D’ and ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’.
