Shah Rukh Khan backs Sanjay Mishra’s ‘Kaamyaab’

Whilst we continue to wait for an announcement from Shah Rukh Khan about his next film as an actor, the superstar is back in the news today after it was confirmed he was backing Sanjay Mishra’s film ‘Kaamyaab’.

According to reports, the film, which has had much appreciation at various film festivals, appealed to Khan reportedly as it based on the struggle of character actors in Bollywood.

‘Kaamyaab’ tell a story of an actor who begins his journey as an extra but rises to be acclaimed as an actor. Sanjay Mishra, who stars in the film, was thought to be a good fit as his own struggle is similar to that of the character.

The film’s director Hardik is working on ‘Rohi Afzana’, starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor.
