Four militant killed,encounter rages in Nagrota

Jammu: A major encounter is going on in the forest areas of Nagrota along highway to Kashmir after a militant attack.The encounter started after police sucessfully intecepted a truck in which militangs were travelling. According to wire service, at least four militant has been reportedly killed and a cop of Jammu and Kashmir Police injured in the encounter which is going on not far from the 16 Corps headquarters of Army. The attack happened close to the Ban toll plaza on Jammu-Srinagar national highway.

As per Reporter, though reports of exact nature of encounter are still emerging, sources said militants are were stuck near the toll plaza and then slipped into the nearby forest area. Police and Army are believed to have dominated the area in the ensuing encounter leading to killing of four militant.This is first major encounter in Jammu region after the Sunjwan military station attack of 2018.
