Ashanti gushed about her 'amazing' tour on Good Morning Britain today, despite her Liverpool gig being branded'the worst concert ever'.
The What's Love singer appeared at the Mountford Hall in Liverpool's Guild of Students on January 26 for the first show on her much anticipated UK tour.
Fans were allowed into the venue at 7pm but Ashanti didn't arrive on stage until 10pm, by which time tensions were running high among some fans.
Venue bosses said they were aware of a "number of incidents" in the crowd and a "short delay" in the start time of the performance.
One woman, who went to the concert with her sisters, claimed girls were "ragging each other" through the crowd and "swilling" people with drinks.
She said: "It must have been about 10.30pm there were just crowds going. We went to the smoking area and I could just hear people saying this is the worst concert ever.
"Then we started speaking to the security and he said the only thing he's heard is people kicking off at how bad it is and said he'd had to break up three fights - one girl had just got battered."
At the time t he ECHO attempted to contact Ashanti about the concert, but did not receive a response.
But speaking on GMB today, Ashanti revealed she was 'having so much fun' and said the tour is 'amazing'.
She told Kate Garraway: "It's amazing, I'm having so much fun and I'm so happy to be here.
"I love you guys, you show so much love, you sing words throughout all the songs from top to bottom it's like the most amazing feeling.
"Sometimes it gets a little bit tiring show after show after show, I try to squeeze in a couple of days in between but there's nothing like seeing your fans around the world and sharing the love."
