McDonald's has launched their much-loved Shamrock Shake ahead of St Patrick's Day.

The festive milkshake will be sold at all of its outlets across Ireland until March 24.

A spokeswoman said: "The nation’s most iconic milkshake is back, and this year you’ll be able to enjoy it for longer!

"The Shamrock Shake from McDonald’s Ireland launched to kick start the St Patrick’s Day celebrations early.

"Fans can expect a deliciously creamy vanilla soft serve blended with mint Shamrock Shake syrup."

The announcement comes as the fast-food giant revealed it has teamed up with Just Eat, which will roll out the McDelivery service later this year.

Peter Duffy, Just Eat’s Interim CEO, said: “We are delighted to announce that we have agreed to partner in the UK and Ireland with McDonald’s."
