Are Harry and Meghan planning a move to Hollywood?

Cape Town – Harry, Meghan, and The City of Angels?

Following their decision to step back as senior members of the royal family and the queen's statement that the royals would no longer be receiving sovereign funds and have to give up their HRH titles as a result, Harry and Meghan are settling into their new life in Canada.

Now, a source has revealed to E! News that the royal couple may spend summer in Los Angeles.

"They have started to look at homes online and are in the process of interviewing security teams. They are getting their ducks in a row and seeing if it's logistically possible," the insider revealed. "They've reached out to people in L.A. and would like to assemble a team of locals."

Spending time in LA will also mean spending time with family. While it may not necessarily being the royal family, Harry and Meghan have many friends in Tinseltown residing in the City of Angels, while Doria Ragland works as a yoga instructor there too.

Rumours have also started swirling that Meghan may return to work as an actress as the former Suits star is reportedly looking for an agent.

A source told Us Weekly, "Meghan is actively looking for representation. She has begun outreach.

"It can be a manager or an agent, but she's reaching out to people to find someone to represent her for future professional projects," they said.

While Harry and Meghan have been spotted out in Canada and said in their official statement earlier in January that they "plan to balance [their] time between the United Kingdom and North America", their bombshell announcement also indicated that stepping back would mean they'd also become "financially independent". A move to Hollywood, therefore, makes sense for Harry and the former Suits star, with Meghan having already signed a deal with Disney.

Earlier this month a video also resurfaced of Harry speaking to Disney CEO, Bob Iger at The Lion King premiere about Meghan potentially doing voiceovers.

He joked, "You know she does voiceovers," pointing to Meghan. The two had a short chat before Bob was heard saying, "Oh, really? Sure. We'd love to try."

Later that night, Meghan reportedly also caught up with director Jon Favreau and joked, "That's really why we're here - to pitch."

Could Meghan voice a character in one of Jon Favreau's upcoming live action remakes? We heard Bambi's in the works.

Well, with everything that's transpired since – and a voiceover deal already underway – the conversation is looking more like a reality than anything else now.
