SLEX to close lanes and exits for Skyway extension
Expect heavy traffic along SLEX, Skyway in two weeks

Come February 16, Skyway’s Lane 3 southbound and northbound lane of West Service Road and the southbound Alabang At-grade and Bunye South Station Exits will be closed. This has been done in order to complete the Skyway Extension project.
In order to ease the flow of traffic, SLEX-MaTES have shown alternate routes once the these lanes are closed.
For those coming from the North and headed to Alabang, motorists are advised to take SLEX Filinvest toll plaza, turn right at Corporate Avenue, right into Civic Drive, back onto Corporate Avenue, then right into Alabang-Zapote Road. This route is for Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles.
For those headed to Alabang, Putatan, and National Road, there is also an alternate route. Take Susana exit, turn right at Susana Heights, and then either left or right on National Road to reach your destination.
Meanwhile, those headed towards Skyway (at grade) will have to take Filinvest Avenue from Alabang-Zapote Road, turn left at Parkway Street, then turn right to access Filinvest Northbound Entry. To take Skyway Elevated, keep right from the Filinvest Northbound Entry and take the ramp before Sucat Interchange. To take East Service road, motorists are instructed to to take a u-turn at the Alabang Viaduct (ilalim) in front of Starmall.
The affected route will be closed by 6 AM on the said date. SLEX-MaTES did not mention a date when it will be re-opened at the time of writing.
