Teens arrested, garda injured following burglaries

Two teenagers and a young man have been arrested in Dundalk after a garda was injured following a number of burglaries in Dublin and a pursuit n the M50 and M1.

A pursuit of a vehicle ensued, with the help of the Air Support Unit after gardaí became suspicious of the vehicle in Tallaght.

A number of burglaries in the Blackrock area of Dublin had also been reported.

The car was then abandoned on the M1 at Junction 18 and four occupants fled on foot towards fields nearby.

Two male teenagers and a man in his 20s, were arrested a short distance away.

Gardaí are searching for the fourth occupant of the car.

It's believed the car involved was stolen north of the border.

One garda was taken to hospital with minor injuries and has since been released.

Property from one burglary in Blackrock was recovered on the M50 by gardaí.
