Manchester United players arrive at training ground on transfer deadline day

Manchester United players have arrived at the club's Carrington training base on transfer deadline day.

United completed the signing of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon on the penultimate day of the January transfer window, though Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was not very optimistic of any more incomings.

Asked at his press conference about the chances of United signing the striker they want, amid interest in Bournemouth forward — and former Old Trafford youngster — Josh King, Solskjaer said: "I don’t think we will do anymore business, no. I don’t think so."

Solskjaer confirmed Fernandes is training with his United teammates, however, after the squad arrived as normal to complete their preparations for the Premier League fixture against Wolves on Saturday tea time.

The new signing could make his United debut at Old Trafford.

United are facing Nuno Espirito Santo's side for the fourth time this season — and sixth time since March. It's their final game before a 16-day break as the Premier League enters its first ever winter hiatus.
