When is the Super Bowl 2020 date?
As usual, the Super Bowl is the first Sunday of February making it 2 February. It takes place in Miami, home of the Dolphins at the Hard Rock Stadium.

The Super Bowl start time is 3:30pm PT/6:30pm ET, so that makes kick off 11:30pm in the UK.

What TV channel is Super Bowl 2020 on?
In the UK there are various TV and online options for watching the Super Bowl live. We'll start off with the easiest and free option, then take you through the other choices.
BBC
The easiest way for most people to watch this year’s NFL Super Bowl is with the BBC.
On game day, you'll be able to watch the Super Bowl live and for free (if you have a TV licence) in a number of ways as it will be broadcast on BBC One with coverage starting at 11:25pm. However, you can watch build-up coverage on BBC Two from 11pm.
This means you can watch via your TV or online via the website, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport app.
Sky Sports
If you prefer, you can watch coverage on Sky. Coverage starts at 10pm and the Super Bowl will be shown on three channels: Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Action and Sky Sports Mix.
If you’re a Sky customer with sports channels then you can use Sky Go to watch live coverage of the Super Bowl wherever you are. The Sky Go app is available on various devices.
If you’re not a Sky customer then don’t worry because you can get Sky Sports coverage with Now TV which is also available on a large range of devices or simply a web browser. You’ll need to buy a 24 hour Sky Sports Day Pass for £9.99 on the day of the Super Bowl.
A cheaper option, if you don't mind watching on a smaller screen, is the Mobile Month Pass at £5.99. You can also get one month for £20 at the time of writing, saving you over 40% off the normal price.
NFL Game Pass
Another option is the use the official NFL streaming service called Game Pass. You can sign up just to watch the Super Bowl 2020 and watch on a range of devices and even cast it to your TV using a Chromecast.
The special Super Bowl price is £9.99 which matches Now TV but includes things like the halftime show and all the US adverts, US broadcast studio panel pre-game and halftime.

Watch the Super Bowl from abroad
Services like BBC iPlayer and Sky Go are geo-restricted outside the UK, but that doesn't mean you can't watch the Super Bowl 2020 when you're overseas.
