Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar starrer Shubh Mangal Zyaada Savdhaan is making the right noise and the buzz around it is strong. What has also caught the attention is the two leading men of the film kissing each other for real! Today talking about his experience is Jitendra who plays Ayushmann’s love interest.

For the unversed in Shubh Mangal Zyaada Savdhaan, Ayushmann and Jitendra play a homosexual couple and fight the taboo that the society and family have about homosexual relationships. The film tackles the issue with humour and the trailer looks promising.

Recently talking to Mumbai Mirror, Jitendra aka Jitu Bhaiya said, “When I heard the narration, I realised how simple things were explained to the families in the narrative. I instantly knew I wanted to be a part of the film. I discovered later that even Ayushmann had been lobbying to get me on board.”

Further, the actor opened up on kissing Ayushmann and how he made him comfortable. He said, “I am a reserved person, but Ayushmann made me comfortable. He is easy to work with and is quite friendly.”

It was only recently when Ayushmann had opened up about doing such a film. The actor revealed how his family had confidence in him and it was the most important decision of his life. He also revealed how many people from the industry told him not to do the film because no leading man ever did a gay role.
