J Balvin & BAPE Announce BABY MILO-Referenced Capsule
Purchase and get the chance to meet the reggaeton star.

A BATHING APE and J Balvin have come together this season on a capsule collection comprised of T-shirts and hoodies, reworking the streetwear icon’s signature BABY MILO character.
The collaboration combines J Balvin and BABY MILO in a series of playful graphics, imaging the reggaeton star in a similar cartoon vision. Graphics include the miniature monkey hiding behind J Balvin, as well as the pair standing together, with each piece sporting a bubbly font noting both the collaborators and the imprint’s subdivision.
On the rear of each piece, you can find J Balvin’s signature smiley face motif, which replaces eyes for a pair of lightning bolts. This same design adorns the front of a T-shirt too. Rounding out the capsule is its signature piece — a BAPE head reworked with multicolored camouflage and J Balvin/BAPE stamping.
Take a look at the J Balvin x A BATHING APE capsule collection in the gallery above. It will drop at the BAPE STORE MIAMI on Saturday, February 1, with the first 100 customers gaining access to a meet-and-greet with the musician. A wider release for BAPE U.S. will land on February 8.
