Watch: An Appreciation of Little America

by

We here at Paste are really enjoying Little America, even though it’s making us cry. A lot. The Apple TV+ anthology series runs eight half-hour episodes, each focusing on a different—and true—immigrant story, as featured originally in Epic Magazine. The show’s producers include Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon, who also made The Big Sick. And while you may recognize some of the actors in the series (including Zachary Quinto, Tom McCarthy, and Melanie Laurent), many more you will not, which really helps with immersing yourself into these very emotional stories.

Below, our Editor-in-Chief Josh Jackson and I (TV Editor Allison Keene) discuss why we love Little America, what makes it special, and why it’s the best thing Apple TV+ has done so far (for a complete ranking of everything on Apple TV+, go here).

All eight episodes of Little America are currently available to stream on Apple TV+
