Thiruvananthapuram: The state government’s assembly advisory committee  rejected the resolution passed against the governor.  The opposition leader expressed dissent over rejecting the resolution. He said the government is not dare enough to challenge the governor. The resolution must be turned as a lesson to all governors, the opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala said.

The move of calling back the governor does not exist in law, said minister A K Balan so the assembly cannot permit such a resolution to pass. The row between government and governor cannot be allowed to create stalemate in governance, minister said.

The statement made by the minister rejects the stand taken by the speaker. The opposition leader pointed out as per the speaker the resolution was permissible.
