Zendaya and Jacob Elordi are all smiles as they hang out in New York

Zendaya and her Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi looked like they were having a great time as the pair hung out together at the AAA Arts Awards in New York on Thursday.

The pair appeared to be seated at the same table for the awards dinner, and shared a laugh with each other as they caught up.

Zendaya, 23, and Jacob, 22, were seen chatting and laughing together as they took in the American Australian Association’s arts awards to raise money for the Australian Bushfire Relief Fund.

All the money raised from the evening will go towards helping with the relief efforts following the devastating fires in Australia.

It was a doubly important night for Jacob, who was also receiving the AAA rising star award for his work in The Kissing Booth and Euphoria.

Zendaya stunned on the night as she wore a cut-out dark grey dress with oversized pockets on the front (and let’s be honest, there is literally nothing better than a dress with pockets, right?).

She was also photographed at her table where she looked forlornly at the salad in front of her – and that’s the exact expression we’d give a salad too. Here’s hoping there was some cake for dessert…

Jacob and Zendaya then headed on to Soho House in New York following the awards, with Zendaya braving the cold in her dress and no coat, while Jacob attempted to go incognito in a pair of shades, despite it being dark outside.

The pair have become friends since playing recovering drug addict Rue (Zendaya) and jock Nate (Jacob) on HBO’s hit series Euphoria.

They also sparked dating rumours last summer, after they were spotted getting the train together in Sydney as well as holding hands while walking together, though Jacob has denied they are more than friends.

He told GQ Australia in December: ‘She’s like my sister. Zendaya is an amazing creative, you know? She’s super dope to work with. She’s an incredible artist and a very caring person to all of us.

‘But we’re all really close. There is not one weak link in that show. We’ve spent so much time together and everyone is just so cool to work with.’
