Gas goes up, gas goes down

The price of petrol continues to yo-yo in the North Okanagan.

Some Vernon stations have raised the price at the pump to 127.9, while others remain at 119.9.

Several weeks ago the price for a litre of gas was 132.9, before is slowly inched its way downward to 119.9.

On Friday, several stations once again cranked up the price of gas.

And as motorists are well aware, it is probably just a matter of time before the rest of the gas stations take a bigger bite out of your wallet.

Gas in Kelowna is between 127.9 and 129.9, while Penticton motorists as shelling out a mere 114.9 a litre.

According to gasbuddy.com, the cheapest gas in the province is .99 per litre, with the average price in the province being 132.8.

Vancouver drivers are paying between 131.9 and 143.9.

And of course, our cousins in Calgary are paying a stunning 93.9 cents per litre
