Second Signing Confirmed For PSL Strugglers

A struggling Absa Premiership club has made a second signing of the week in line with the plans to move away from the relegation zone. 

Having confirmed on Wednesday a new signing from Bidvest Wits in striker Ivan Mahangwahaya, Baroka FC have further been boosted with the addition of Sello Molewa – the forward who has been scoring goals for Baberwa FC in the ABC Motsepe League.

Ferrari, as Molewa is known in football circles, has been one of the influential players for Baberwa in the Gauteng club’s push for promotion to the GladAfrica Championship. 

The player’s switch to South Africa’s top tier league has been confirmed by the ambitious third tier outfit.

“Baberwa Football Club would like to announce the departure of our top striker Sello ‘Ferrari’ Molewa who has joined PSL side Baroka FC. We thank him for his contribution to our club and wish him all the best at Baroka FC,” Baberwa confirmed on Twitter.

Following two wins in their last three games under new coach Dylan Kerr, Bakgaga have moved to 13th place on the log standings, with their next match this Saturday against Highlands Park at the Makhulong Stadium.
