How Sundowns Beat Wydad At Home In 2019 Group Stage

Sundowns will host the Moroccans at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday, February 01 in their final group stage encounter, where both sides will be in the fight for the top of group standings.

The last time Sundowns hosted Wydad in in South Africa in the group stages of the competition, a brace by Themba Zwane sealed a 2-1 victory for Pitso Mosimane’s side on the day.
Sundowns are currently unbeaten in their CAF Champions League group stages, but will be more eager to improve on their record against the Moroccans when they welcome them to South Africa this weekend.
The Brazilians have only beaten Wydad twice in their last nine meetings, with their past two fixtures having ended in 0-0 draws.
