EEP Africa: grant financing for early-stage clean power projects

EEP Africa has opened a call for proposals aimed at applicants in need of grant financing to implement innovative early-stage clean energy projects in Southern and East Africa.

The call for proposals was announced on 28 January 2020.

The theme of the call is 'Clean Energy Powering Green Growth' with particular focus on impact-driven companies working in clean energy for productive use and clean energy in circular economy solutions.

According to EEP Africa, available financing is in the form of grants and repayable grants between EUR 200,000 - 500,000, with a minimum of 30% co-financing required.
