Bulacan PNP release sketches of suspects in killing of former Pandi vice mayor, chairman

CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan -The cartographic sketches of the two suspects in the killing of former Pandi Vice-Mayor Oscar T. Marquez and village chief Mauro R. Capistrano were released to the public by the Bulacan Police Provincial Office on Thursday.

Based on the report submitted to Col. Emma M. Libunao, acting Bulacan police director, the witnesses described the first male suspect as about 5’7’ to 5’9’, medium built, with brown complexion, black eyes, and hair, around 33-year-old and above, while the second suspect is about 5’6’’ to 5’8’’, slim built, with fair complexion, black hair, around 38-year-old and above.

The Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) “Vice Oscar and Kap Mauro” is conducting an investigation and hot pursuit operation on the suspects.

Marquez and Capistrano were shot to death by a riding in tandem in Barangay Bulihan in Plaridel town last January 19, 2020.

Initial police investigation said that the victims, on board a white colored Toyota Fortuner with license plate number NBU-7644, had just reached Mang Celo Eatery when the suspects arrived and shot Capistrano on the head and body. He died on the spot. Marquez managed to run toward a gasoline station but was pursued by the suspects who kept on firing at him until he slumped to the ground.
