EastEnders teases Keanu Taylor's return plot as character finds out he's alive

EastEnders will air the beginning of the return of Keanu Taylor next week it seems, with the BBC soap spoilers confirming one character makes contact with him.

It was recently reported Keanu, played by actor Danny Walters, was making a comeback just months after his Christmas Day "murder" - while it was later confirmed he and Martin Fowler had faked his death.

The Mitchells currently have no idea he is still alive after arranging his killing, but the character was spotted filming for the upcoming 35th anniversary boat stunt earlier this month.

It was then reported by Daily Star Sunday that Keanu will kidnap Ben Mitchell's boyfriend Callum Highway as payback for his attempts to kill him.

Now, fresh spoilers will confirm one character will grow suspicious over Keanu's whereabouts after his disappearance over Christmas.

Only Martin, Linda Carter and now Karen Taylor and Sharon Mitchell know he is still alive.

But next week, Keanu's sister Bernadette, still worried about him, goes digging.

He was feared dead after his affair with Sharon was exposed, leading to her husband Phil Mitchell wanting him dealt with.

Knowing the truth, Karen hasn't escalated her son's vanishing act with the police - but a worried Bernadette wants answers.

When the police update Karen and she offers no real reaction, she takes her mother's phone and leaves her brother a message.

Her attempts to find out information on her missing sibling fall flat and she gets nothing, leading to her taking her frustrations out on her mum.

Realising what her issue is with Bernadette refusing to give up until she finds out the truth, Karen risks everything.

She tells Bernadette that her brother is alive and safe, exposing the secret yet again.

Will she go looking for him, or will he come back after seeing her message?
