Tiverton and Heathcoat Photography Club get ready for a Fabulous February

Tiverton and Heathcoat Photography Club has a is continuing their season with a ‘Fabulous February’.

On Monday, February 3, the club announced their competition results for there Three Set subject. On Monday, 10, they will welcome guest speaker John Perriam. On Monday, 17 they welcome the Proteus Group and on Monday 24, they will announce the competition results of the Keith Stone cups.

All meetings are held in the first floor meeting room at Westexe Sports and Social Club, Wellbrook Street, Tiverton. Meetings start at 7:30pm and run until 9:30pm with an entrance fee of £1 which includes refreshments.

The club have also recently hosted their  Annual General Meeting where the secretary, Tony Britton reported on a another good year and thanked the committee for their continued support and members for continued attendance.

Chairman, Bette Delling, announced that she wished to retire after several years at the head of the club. Dennis Knowles agreed to take on the role of chairman with Bette agreeing to take on the role of vice chairman.

Other changes include Vic Anscomb and Emma Coles sharing the role of competition secretary and Keith Norris becoming membership secretary as well as equipment secretary. Tony Britton becomes Progamme Coordinator. A new addition to the committee was Matthew Little. Other officers and committee members remain in their roles: Tony Britton as secretary, Richard Heywood as treasurer and Ros Nichols as publicity secretary.
