A spokesperson for the Rotary Club said: “Last year saw the largest turn-out of runners to date for this exciting cross-country fun run where you will get to see stunningly beautiful parts of Devon’s countryside at its glorious Springtime best during a 5k or 10k run wholly off the road.

“Without exception, 2019 feedback was positive about the experience. Do come along with your fellow runners and help us to make the 2020 event bigger and better than ever.

“Once again, the event will be off-road, principally using the attractive private - and otherwise inaccessible - woodland roads and tracks of the Cruwys Morchard Estate. It is an experience unique to this event. Uphill and down dale, and maybe through a couple of small streams as well-meaning a few wet and muddy areas are to be expected; they aren’t guaranteed, but be prepared for them all the same - it all adds to the fun.”
