Spinach is loaded with iron and other essential nutrients
 

Recipe Of Palak Dosa:

Ingredients:

3 cups dosa batter
1 cup spinach
2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
Half teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1-2 green chillies
Ghee (clarified butter) for cooking

Method:

Step 1 - Wash spinach leaves and boil them. Drain out excess water and grind the leaves to make a smooth paste.
Step 2 - Pour dosa batter in a large bowl. You can either use store-bought dosa batter or make it at home from scratch.
Step 3 - Add spinach paste to the batter. Further, add ginger-garlic paste, and all other spices.  Give it a good stir so that all the ingredients are mixed well. You can even add some chopped onions to the batter if you want to. 
Step 4 - Heat some ghee on a non-stick pan and pour a ladleful of batter on it. Spread it in a round circle and let it cook. Flip it to cook from the other side too.
Step 5 - Sprinkle some coriander leaves. If you are making it for kids, you can even garnish it with grated cheese.
Note: This recipe should make 3-4 palak dosas.

Serve this quick and easy dosa with sambhar and chutney, or just some tomato ketchup to fix yourself a hale and hearty meal replete with the goodness of spinach.
