Annual Christmas carols service at Castlebar's Christ Church

THE annual Christmas carols service at Christ Church, Castlebar, takes place tonight (Monday), December 9, at 8 p.m.

The Reverend Richard Marsh, Louisburgh, will lead the service.

In attendance will be Castlebar Concert Band, under the direction of Mary Curran, and the Holy Rosary Church Choir, under the direction of Sister Mary Johnson, and accompanied by church organist Sister Margo Lombard.

This year's designated charity is the Mayo Roscommon Hospice.

The church is open from 7 p.m. and everybody is invited to attend.
