Stitt to speak at OSU graduation Saturday
by Carmen FormanGov. Kevin Stitt will return to his alma mater Saturday to to speak at both Oklahoma State University undergraduate commencement ceremonies for fall graduates.
A 1996 graduate of OSU, Stitt will speak to roughly 1,800 graduates at two ceremonies.
At 10:30 a.m., Stitt will speak at a ceremony for graduates from the colleges of Human Sciences; Education, Health and Aviation; and the Spears School of Business.
At 1:30 p.m., Stitt will speak to graduates from the colleges of Arts and Sciences; Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources; and Engineering, Architecture and Technology.
Both ceremonies will be held at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
“We are thrilled to welcome Gov. Stitt back to campus,” OSU President Burns Hargis said in a news release. “His commitment to improving education and job growth bode well for our current students and graduates entering the workforce.”
