Police launch probe after Cambuslang social club disturbance leaves four men injured

Cambuslang police are appealing for information after a social club fight that left four men injured.

Officers were called to a report of a disturbance within Holepark Social Club on Tabernacle Lane around 7.20pm on Sunday night.

Police and ambulance attended the scene and three men aged, 29, 37 and 56 years were taken by ambulance to Hairmyres Hospital where they were treated for their injuries then later released. 

A fourth man, aged 25 years did not require hospital treatment.

A police spokesperson said: "Enquiries are at an early stage and officers are carrying out enquiries within the club to establish more information on the circumstances and gathering CCTV footage from the local area.

"Any witnesses, or anyone with information that may assist our investigation into this disturbance should contact Cambuslang Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 3458 of December 8. 

"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
