Officers arrested the shoplifter after trying to run away from Tesco in West Bromwich with a trolley filled to the brim with 50 bottles of Veuve Clicquot.

Force Response tweeted saying: "#CTeamSandwell have arrested another shoplifter from Tesco West Bromwich, straight after the trespass incident.

"He tried to run away with a trolley full of champagne worth over £1,800!"
