According to an official report coming directly from Meizu, on December 8th (yesterday), the Meizu PRO 6 Plus finally received the Flyme 8.0 stable version system update. With the update, Meizu’s PRO 6 Plus gets support for small window mode 2.0 and much more.
In the changelog, we see the handset also gets a special SOS urgent help feature; which is the first alarm assistance in China and connected Guangdong Public Security Department. Plus the smartphone now supports Meizu Pay, along with UnionPay cards compatibility.
In terms of gaming experience, after the update, the Meizu PRO 6 Plus should be able to bring a more immersive gaming experience. Additionally, with Flyme 8.0 stable version the Meizu PRO 6 Plus also gets an improved the Aicy intelligent assistant and One Mind 3.5; which helps the system run smoother overall.

For those who have forgotten about Meizu’s phone, let’s have a quick recap. The smartphone was launched back in November of 2016 and it featured a full metal unibody design; it was also available in three color variants: champagne gold, deep space gray and moonlight silver. The handset then had a 2.5D curved glass at the front, with a fingerprint scanner / home button beneath it. Finally the PRO 6 Plus also sported an heart rate monitor on the back.
