Lulu Hypermarket's annual pet show is back

Paws and Tails is taking place at the Al Barsha branch in Dubai

Lulu Hypermarket in Dubai is hosting a fur-filled pet carnival for the second year in a row.

The aptly-named Paws and Tails is taking place on Saturday December 14 at the Al Barsha branch of the supermarket.

Proud dog owners can take their pampered pooches along to take part in a whole load of fun activities.

Obedient and energetic canines will love the agility test, while little ones can go to town choosing an outfit for their furry four-legged friends – Santa Paws maybe – and enter them in the fancy dress competition.

And while it's all a bit of fun, there are some great prizes up for grabs such as a year's supply of pet food – furtastic.

The show is free to enter, but pet parents must register their fur babies ahead of the event.

But the excitement doesn't stop there. Interactive shows and live music will be laid on to entertain the human audience, while a slew of pet experts from vets and groomers to dog walkers and trainers, will be on hand to share their expertise and services.

Don't have a fluffy companion? Don't worry. Head to the adoption booth where you can find out all about the adorable little cats and dogs who are looking for their forever home.
