Meghanról eddig is tudni lehetett, hogy mindig kiáll az elesettek mellett, szívesen jótékonykodik, sőt ebben az évben több karitatív szervezet védnöke is lett. Most pedig az is kiderült, hogy a hercegé már jóval Harryvel való találkozása előtt is rendszeresen segített a rászorulókon.
A hétvégén ugyanis a torontói St. Felix Center közzétett egy évekkel ezelőtti, soha nem látott fotót Meghanról, és egy nagyon megható szöveget is leírtak mellé. Azt tudni kell, hogy a St. Felix Center munkatársai hajléktalan embereken segítenek, és Meghan anno a színésznői karrierje mellett rendszeresen csatlakozott hozzájuk önkéntesnek. Azt írták, hogy a hercegné, amikor csak tudta, mindig elvitte a központba a Brilliáns elmék (Suits) forgatásán megmaradt ételeket, hogy szétoszthassák azokat a hajléktalanok között. The Duchess also donated food from the set of Suits, and on one Thanksgiving she brought in all the food, turkeys and the fixings for over 100 people. .
