Deadly shooting under investigation in St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Police in St. Petersburg are investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Monday morning.

Police say it happened at 6:30 a.m. in the 2500th block of 25th Avenue North.

Jason Carr, 24, was found suffering gunshot wounds by responding officers. He was taken to Bayfront Hospital in critical condition where he died from his injuries, according to police.
