Man appears in court on GBH charge after alleged incident involving his neighbours
He was brought to Nottingham Magistrates' Court
by Rod MalcolmA man is set to spend Christmas in custody after being accused of causing grievous bodily harm to two neighbours on Saturday.
Building site foreman Jamie Winfield, 51, of Peveril Street was brought to Nottingham Magistrates' Court.
District Judge Leo Pyle told him: "The allegations have to be dealt with at the crown court. The initial hearing will be on January 8."
Winfield was remanded in custody but was told he could apply for bail from a crown court judge.
Lee Shepherd, prosecuting, outlined an incident involving a man, woman and Winfield.
Chris Saunders, defending, represented Winfield and asked for him to be granted bail on condition that he lives at an address in Bulwell.
