After recovering from pneumonia, the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar was back home on Sunday. Today a picture of the singer was shared on the social media surrounded by the nurses who took care of her during her treatment for 28 days. The singer definitely looks hale and hearty!

After 28 days of the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar being hospitalized, here comes the first picture of the singer as she headed back home over the weekend. Photographer Viral Bhayani shared a picture of her on his Instagram handle. Being seated in a wheelchair, the singer looked understandably tired, with three nurses standing next to her. Covering her head with a white shawl. She was admitted to Breach Candy on November 11, after she complained of difficulty in breathing.

The nurses in the picture are the ones who took care of her during her stay in the hospital. His caption read, “The nurses from Breach candy hospital who took care of legend #latamangeshkar while she was admitted for around 28 days.” As she returned home on Sunday, she had released an official statement on her Twitter handle, thanking doctors and her well-wishers. In her tweet, she also revealed being detected with pneumonia. Her official statement where she thanked her fans for their prayers and called doctors her guardian angels, read, “My doctors at Breach Candy have been my guardian angels and I stand in eternal gratitude to each one of them. The nursing staff has been exceptional. Your endless love and blessings are precious.”

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar also took to his social media handle expressing his happiness on her return. His post read, “Overjoyed to hear the good news that My ‘choti behen’ Lata, is feeling much better and is at her home now. Please take good care of yourself @mangeshkarlata.”
