Derby bridal studio scoops top national boutique award

Two sisters run the business

A Derby bridal store has come out on top in a national wedding contest.

Lori G Bridal Studio, in Allestree, has been awarded Wedding Boutique of the Year 2019 at the English Wedding Awards.

It won the same accolade last year.

The bridal shop, in Blenheim Drive, was set up by sisters, Sandra Galloghly and trained bridal designer Lorraine Radford in 2006.

The team go the extra mile to provide aftercare services to their customers.

The sisters gave thanks to everyone who voted for them, along with the brides and their suppliers.

Sandra Galloghly said that to say they were delighted to be finalists for the second year running.

She added: "To be nominated is wonderful but to be a finalist again the the category of 'Best Bridal Boutique' East Midlands was fantastic.

"It's a wonderful feeling to be recognised as the best in the business. This is all down to our brides votes, testimonials and reviews.

"We give our brides that extra with our Luxury aftercare service. We attend to our brides right up to the day they collect their dress altered, streamed to perfection & ready to just step into on the day."

Sandra said the team were excited just to be at the awards ceremony in Birmingham, let alone to win.

She said: "It was astounding. The excitement was amazing - the atmosphere in the room was electric. Derby was well recognised on the night with other winners in their categories too.

"It was an amazing night and we are truly grateful to have won and to spend the evening with such wonderful talented suppliers and friends."

Their suppliers deliver what they've described as the best possible products.

From the beautifully designed and manufactured bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses right through to uniquely designed accessories.

The team of four have a large studio, a reception area and two bridal suites with large fitting areas.
