Tributes are being paid to a man who died in Aberdeen .

Alan Geddes, 56, was found dead in Ruthrieson Crescent just after 5.30am on Saturday.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.

Devastated loved ones have taken to social media to pay tribute to a 'real gentleman'.

On Facebook one friend wrote: "RIP Alan Geddes.

"Heartbreaking."

Another added: "Shocking, top bloke."

A third commented: "Stunned.

"Sad loss of a real gentleman."

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
