4 Pirates Stars Who Could Miss First Match Of 2020

An Orlando Pirates star has joined the list of players who could soon be at risk of suspension in one of the upcoming matches. 

Going to their last match of the year against Black Leopards next Saturday, Pirates currently have three players on three yellow cards each, this after Paseka Mako joined the list with his caution in the 2-2 draw against Baroka FC at the weekend.

The other Pirates players walking a suspension tightrope are Ntsikelelo Nyauza, Fortune Makaringe and Vincent Pule.

The Buccaneers will still be without attacker Thembinkosi Lorch for the Leopards match, as the reigning Absa Premiership’s Footballer of the Season will be serving his second and last match of his suspension for the red card received against Polokwane City.

Bucs will get their 2020 league campaign underway with a match against Bloemfontein Celtic at the Dr Molemela Stadium on January 04.
