Paul Reubens going on ‘Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure’ 35th Anniversary tour
by Bill PearisClassic ’80s comedy Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure turns 35 in 2020 and to celebrate, Pee-Wee creator/alter-ego Paul Reubens will be taking the movie on cross-country road trip where he’ll show the movie, tell stories about it, and answer audience questions. The tour kicks off on Valentine’s Day in Portland, OR and wraps up March 29 in Washington, DC, with stops along the way in most major U.S. cities, including San Antonio, TX (home of The Alamo!) and NYC’s Beacon Theatre on March 26.
Tickets for Beacon Theatre, and the whole tour, go on sale Friday, December 13 at 10 AM local time, with a presale starting Tuesday (12/11) at 10 AM local. There are also VIP, meet-and-greet and other packages available.
