Overnights: Sony TV leads on Sunday with ITA Awards & ‘Indian Idol 11’
by Lakh BaddhanSony Entertainment Television trounced competition on Sunday with its coverage of the Indian Television Academy Awards, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
The 19th ITA Awards were watched by 45,800 viewers at 21:00. Earlier, ‘Indian Idol 11’ pulled in 58,100 viewers.
Sony TV was on top with a share of 0.16%, followed by Star Gold with 0.10%, PTC Punjabi with 0.08%, Star Plus and Colors with 0.07%, Star Bharat and New Vision TV with 0.06%, ZEE Cinema with 0.03%, ZEE TV, Hum TV, Dunya News, B4U Music, BritAsia TV, Sony SAB TV, Sony MAX and Sony MAX 2 with 0.02%.
On Star Gold, cricket between India and West Indies led with an average of 45,000 viewers.
On Star Plus, ‘Masterchef India’ stayed top with 55,100 viewers at 19:00, followed by Dance+ 5′ repeat at 17:30 with 14,800 viewers and ‘Divya Drishti’ at 21:30 with 14,100 viewers. ‘Dance+ 5’ original at 20:00 raked in 12,300 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13’ led with 58,400 viewers at 21:30.
On Hum TV, ‘Ehd-e-Wafa’ topped ratings with 23,000 viewers at 20:00.
