An old video clip showing Lori Harvey, the daughter of Marjorie and Steve Harvey, talking to her mother, regained popularity after some events in her wild love life took place over this year.
In the clip, dating from 2015, when Lori was just an 18-year-old college student, she had a discussion with Marjorie about how to behave appropriately once she was on her own and not living with her parents anymore.
Marjorie started her motherly pieces of advice by bringing up the topic of dating.
The concerned parent asked her daughter jokingly how they were going to handle the fact that she started dating earlier and continued by stating that she was not allowed to be involved with athletes, rappers, and men with similar professions.
It seems that even at such a young age, Lori had a clear opinion of how she was handling her romances as she commented that her mother had nothing to worry about when it comes to dating because she was sure she would make the right choices.
In the footage, Marjorie also gave her daughter the advice to never try to fit in, when God has created her to stand out and urged her to always behave like a lady.
Marjorie said: “I know you just started dating this year, so how are we going to handle that? No athletes, no rappers, we gon go down the list.”
She added: “Don’t ever try to fit in when God has clearly created you to stand out. Always be a lady, and always understand you are the prize. Don’t give yourself to anybody that is not going to be your husband. If they love you, if they really care about you, they’ll wait on it.”
Lori responded by: “When it comes to dating, my mom has nothing to worry about. I got this.”
However, it appears that the rule of dating no rappers does mot hold anymore since Lori has been rumored to be involved with a couple of rap performers in the past year.
