ET Canada has reached out to the nominees to find out how they’re feeling about the honour:
Sacha Baron Cohen, Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series nominee for “The Spy”:
Taylor Swift, Best Song nominee for “Beautiful Ghosts” From “Cats”:
Taylor SwiftI woke up today to the news that Beautiful Ghosts is nominated for a Golden Globe - it’s so cool that one of the most fun, fulfilling creative experiences I’ve ever had is being honored in this way by the HFPA. I ended up spending many days on set watching the other performers do their scenes. Watching the character Victoria, played by @frankiegoestohayward inspired me so much and Beautiful Ghosts was the result. Congrats to my co-writer and buddy 4 life Andrew Lloyd Webber. This is just purrfect. 😸
Producer, Writer & Director Rian Johnson, Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy nominee for “Knives Out”: “Our heads are spinning! On behalf of the Knives Out team, huge heartfelt thank you to the HFPA for this recognition and congrats to our amazing Daniel and Ana!”
Composer Daniel Pemberton, Best Original Score nominee for “Motherless Brooklyn”:
