Cycling's power couple claims 2019 Desert Dash

Cycling's Power couple has claimed the top spots in the 2019 Nedbank Desert Dash.
After a wet and dusty 373km through the World's oldest desert, Konny Looser and Vera Adrian walked away with 1st place podium finishes in their respective categories.
After leading from the onset Looser - who clinched his 5th consecutive win - finished the grueling race in 14:42:02.
Adrian, who took the lead from last year's runner up Irene Styne in stage 2, finished her first Solo Desert Dash in an impressive time of 17:10:50.
However the first to cross the finish line this year was the 4 man team from Megatech Mannies Manne setting a new four man team course record coming in at 13:47:40.
In the 2 persons’ category mixed pair Olympic duo Michelle Foster and Drikus Coetzee clocked in at 14:25:19.
Registration for the 2020 race opens in June.
