Myanmar wins bronze in women’s football

Myanmar beat Philippines to win third place in women’s football at the 2019 Philippines SEA Games, sources said.

They first met in the group stage and drew 0-0. 

Philippines scored at the 57th minute mark while Myanmar equalized after the break in 78th minute to a goal from July Kyaw. A few minutes later, Yee Yee Oo scored the match winning goal.

Myanmar had kept an unbeaten record against the Philippines in SEA Games in Women’s Football with three silver medals and seven bronze medals including five consecutive bronze medals in SEA Games history.
