by

If you thought that the already powerful gaming smartphone ROG Phone 2 wasn’t gamer enough, Asus’ Republic of Gamers is ready to blow your mobile gaming socks off with two suped-up versions of the popular smartphone: ROG Phone 2 Ultimate Edition and ROG Phone 2 STRIX Edition.

Just after announcing their incredible success within the smartphone industry, ROG surprised everyone with two new version of their gaming smartphone. Aiming to offer users unrivalled power, speed and storage capabilities for their mobile gaming needs, these new phones are impressive.

The ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition comes paired with a colossal 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, while the ‘Strix Edition’ offers users 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The devices are powered by the powerful Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, clocked at 2.96GHz, and kept alive with a scarily big 6000mAh battery.

Just like the original ROG Phone 2, ASUS has incorporated the GameCool II vapor-chamber cooling system, a lite water-cooling design similar to Microsoft’s Xbox One X home console.

Of course, the device’s amazing ultrafast 120Hz/1ms AMOLED 10-bit HDR screen returns alongside AirTrigger II, Dual Surrounding Vibration technology, dual front-facing speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack and the new quad mics with noise cancellation.
