By the end of November, farmers threshed 0.3 million tonnes more than forecasted this year.
Ukrainian Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Tymofiy Mylovanov says Ukrainian agrarians harvested a record high 74.3 million tonnes of grain as of November 28, which exceeded by 0.3 million tonnes the ministry's forecast for 2019.
"Some 74.3 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops were harvested from an area of 15 million hectares, or 98% of the target, with an average yield of 4.93 tonnes per hectare," he wrote on Facebook on November 28.
The minister added that an average yield was 4.7 tonnes per hectare in 2018.
As UNIAN reported, the economy ministry earlier projected to harvest 74 million tonnes of gain in 2019, which exceeds a record high 70.1 million tonnes collected in 2018.
