“Pangulong Duterte tulungan mo kami na mahuli ang masasamang loob na gumagawa ng karahasan sa aming bayan, nais po namin ang hustisya at tahimik na bayan (President Duterte, please help us capture the suspects who have perpetrated all this violence in our town. We are asking for justice and peace for our town), said Sison.

Sison cited the killing of his driver Cesar Bong Teniente Jr., and bodyguard Jeric Uno Caguiao last June 11 and November 24, respectively. Both were killed by shooting.

Aside from the killings, Sison reported harassment on the town’s barangay officials.

The mayor claimed the houses of two barangay officials were raided by armed men.

Several ammunition and firearms were allegedly confiscated as reported by police, but he claimed that all of it was planted.

Aside from the harassment and killings, the mayor claimed he has also been receiving death threats.
