Batch of Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce recalled over 'risk of explosion'

A particular batch of hot chilli sauce is being recalled over fears it could explode.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) says the contentsĀ of the Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce bottles could explode once they are opened.

It warns that could poses a risk of irritating eyes or skin.

The affected product is a 740 millimetre bottle with a best before date of March 2021.

It affects batch code H9TMKA 44 33 of the product, which originated in the US.
